About this Role

Proposal Scheduler – Junior / Scheduler I
Travel: Up to 15% domestic travel as needed

QISG is seeking a Proposal Scheduler to support the development of schedules for EPC and construction projects during the bidding and proposal phase.

This is a pre-award scheduling role focused on developing competitive, accurate, and executable schedules in response to and support of RFPs. This position is not primarily responsible for scheduling awarded projects during execution.

The Proposal Scheduler will work closely with estimating, preconstruction, engineering, procurement, and operations teams to develop Primavera P6 schedules within short bid timelines. The ideal candidate has 2–5 years of construction, EPC, or bid scheduling experience, strong P6 skills, and an understanding of construction sequencing and project execution.

What You'll Do

  • Develop Primavera P6 schedules for RFPs, bids, estimates, and proposals.
  • Build bid schedules that reflect realistic construction sequencing, durations, milestones, and project constraints.
  • Work within short and often aggressive proposal timelines to deliver schedules that fulfill the requirements of the project.
  • Coordinate with estimating, engineering, procurement, construction, and operations teams to gather schedule inputs.
  • Develop logic, activity sequencing, durations, milestones, and critical path activities.
  • Evaluate construction approaches and identify schedule risks, constraints, and opportunities.
  • Support development of resource-loaded and/or cost-loaded schedules when required.
  • Perform critical path analysis and schedule what-if scenarios to support bid strategy.
  • Assist with schedule narratives, assumptions, and proposal deliverables.
  • Ensure schedules align with project execution strategies, contractual requirements, and bid assumptions.
  • Transition bid schedule information to project controls and execution teams following project award when appropriate.

What You'll Bring

  • 2–5 years of experience in construction scheduling, EPC scheduling, or bid/proposal scheduling.
  • Primavera P6 experience required.
  • Experience developing schedules specifically for bids, RFPs, estimates, or proposals is highly desirable.
  • Construction or EPC project experience with a strong understanding of construction sequencing and field execution.
  • Ability to develop and analyze CPM schedules and identify the critical path.
  • Experience working with estimating, engineering, procurement, and construction teams.
  • Ability to work effectively under short deadlines and changing bid requirements.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple bid schedules and priorities simultaneously.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management is highly desirable. A degree in Engineering, Business, Project Management, or a related field is also preferred.

  • Generous PTO & paid holidays to maintain work-life balance

  • 401(k) with a generous match to plan for your future

  • Comprehensive benefits – medical, dental, vision, and life insurance
