Schedule
8-hour shifts, Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 4:30 PM. No weekends or major holidays.
Assignment Details
Guaranteed Hours: 40
Contract Weeks: 13
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED
- Successful completion of a medical assistant program (CCMA, RMA, or CMA) or at least 3 years of relevant experience
- Strong communication skills in English, and ability to perform basic math
- Excellent customer service and organizational skills
- Basic computer proficiency
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical support under the direction of a licensed nurse or provider
- Assist with patient intake and gather necessary medical information
- Monitor patient flow and communicate wait times to patients
- Prepare patients and equipment for visits and treatments
- Document vital signs and other patient data accurately
- Assist with various clinical tasks and ensure compliance with protocols and standards
