Position Overview
The Corporate Marketing Intern will support the Corporate Partnerships team with a primary focus on the digital documentation, organization, and fulfillment of partnership assets. This role is ideal for someone interested in sports marketing, corporate partnerships, content creation, and sponsorship activation.
The intern will help capture partner activations on game days, organize proof-of-performance materials, create partner recap presentations, and ensure partnership assets are properly documented throughout the season.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend at least 90% of Worcester Railers home games and any Railers sponsored Events capture photos and videos of corporate partner assets and activations.
- Photograph dasher boards, ribbon boards, videoboard features, concourse signage, promotional tables, in-game promotions, and other sponsored elements.
- Capture partner giveaways, theme-night integrations, intermission promotions, and fan engagement activations.
- Ensure photos clearly showcase partner branding and demonstrate fulfillment of contracted assets.
- Organize and label game-day photos and digital assets following each event.
Partnership Recaps & Proof of Performance
- Compile photos, screenshots, and other materials into professional partner recap presentations/slideshows.
- Help maintain proof-of-performance documentation for corporate partners throughout the season.
- Create organized folders of partnership assets that can be easily accessed by the Corporate Partnerships team.
- Assist with end-of-season partnership recap presentations highlighting completed activations and deliverables.
- Review recap materials for accuracy, branding, and overall presentation quality before they are shared with partners.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
- Currently pursuing Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Business, Sports Management, Event Management or related field required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Internet Explorer) required
- Experience with Adobe web elements (e.g. Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) strongly preferred
- Strong oral and written communications skills. This includes the ability to speak clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations, listen and get clarification, as well as the ability to write clearly and informatively
- Poise and the ability to present him or herself to others with professionalism and maturity
- An energetic and self-motivated attitude
- Comfortable speaking with professional athletes, coaches, and partners in a work setting
- Demonstrates a commitment to seeing tasks through
- Quickly and easily identifies problems and works diligently to provide solutions
- Attention to detail, multi-tasking skills and the ability to thrive in a deadline driven environment
- Willingness to express and share thoughts and ideas to contribute to team brainstorm sessions
- Ability to work with a flexible schedule in order to be available for scheduled events, including nights, weekends and holidays
- Willingness and eagerness to learn, easily coachable
