For more than a decade, we've built our reputation on artistry, precision, and flavor. We're now looking for a Cake Decorator Apprentice to join our team, assist our decorating team on custom orders, and learn hands-on techniques from some of the most skilled decorators in Austin.
What We're Looking For
- Previous cake decorating experience required (student cake decorators welcome to apply)
- Basic skills in buttercream, fondant, and piping techniques
- Eagerness to learn both classic and modern cake design under the guidance of experienced decorators
- Strong time management and ability to assist with multiple orders simultaneously
- A positive, collaborative attitude and pride in craftsmanship
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Flexibility to work occasional weekends
Responsibilities
- Mix buttercream colors and prepare fondant to team specifications
- Stack cakes and assist with basic decorating tasks
- Support the decorating team on wedding cakes, birthday cakes, decorated cookies, and cupcake orders
- Learn advanced techniques from our highly skilled decorating team
- Assist with production, preparation, and finishing work as needed
- Keep decorating tools and workspace clean and organized
