Assistant Advisor - International - Texas Tech K12

Aids in advising individuals and providing guidance services.

•  
• Effectively assist the academic elements involved in the TTU K-12 International Partnerships including but not limited to assisting teachers, validation of student transcripts, and adherence to graduation requirements as set forth by the Texas Education Agency.
• Attend conferences, online meetings and calls concerning all types of issues with students, parents, or other stakeholders as necessary.
• Assist Academic Coordinators, Principals, and Registrar with escalated issues by researching information within our systems and finding solutions.
• Work with departments internally to mediate and ensure teachers have necessary resources.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Assist with daily and seasonal processes to ensure efficiency with course enrollments, student admissions, student IDs, folder creation, entrance exams, and transcript evaluation.
• Assist with data entry for international partnership students to ensure student information is up to date within the SIS including demographic, profile, state assessment, and course completion information.

High school graduation or the equivalent plus four (4) years progressively responsible experience in a related area; additional job related education may substitute for experience on a year for year basis.
