Summary
The North American Hockey League (NAHL) is seeking writing/editorial content interns for the 2026-27 season. Collaborating with the NAHL media team, this is a writing-intensive position as the candidates will publish written material on the NAHL, NA3HL and NAPHL websites and published materials at league events. Candidates must be organized, responsible, professional, and punctual.
Responsibilities
- Write NAHL & NA3HL game recaps
- Research and write NAHL, NA3HL & NAPHL commitment stories for use on league websites
- Feature stories on players, coaches and staff for website and printed publications
- Intern may interact with executives, management, players, coaches, and staff of NAHL member clubs. The candidates will be expected to act in a professional manner at all times
Minimum Qualifications
- Previous sports-writing experience (preferred)
- Knowledge of the sport of hockey (preferred)
- Experience writing in the AP Style
- Time management skills and the ability to track multiple games/projects at once
- Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends and game nights as assigned
- Strong communication skills in collaboration with the NAHL media team
Interns are able to receive college credit if applicable.
