Summary
The North American Hockey League (NAHL) is seeking social media/content interns for the 2026-2027 season. You will collaborate with league staff and your content team to create and release short-form and long-form content across NAHL and NA3HL social media platforms. You’ll be responsible for collecting live highlights for weekly content and editing videos for various social platforms.
Responsibilities
- Live video clipping from NATV game broadcasts
- Collecting highlights for weekly projects
- Editing and trimming video clips optimized for multiple social media platforms (Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Twitter (X), Facebook)
- Writing engaging and effective captions for social media posts
- Collaborating with the NAHL staff and your content team on various weekly projects
Minimum Qualifications
- Experience with editing short-form content in the sports industry
- Proficiency in Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere Pro, or DaVinci Resolve
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
- Time management skills and the ability to track multiple games/projects at once
- Possess high attention to detail in editing and posting content
- Experience in editing videos for different social media layouts
- Knowledge and understanding of the sport of hockey
- Working weekend nights and occasional weeknights
