EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

Working on a terminal degree and minimum 1 year of experience.

JOB DUTIESS

Candidate will be working on development of computational models for the group of patients with single-ventricle heart disease. Specifically, the following methods will be advanced\: 
i) modeling of flow in large vessels when interacting with cardiovascular MRI data
ii) “in silico” (by computations) optimization of  geometry in the total cavopulmonary connection
iii) modeling of whole closed-loop simulations for the patients with single-ventricle heart disease and Fontan circulation.  
Specific implementations within the OpenSource library PhysioBlocks (for biomechanical computational modeling) related to the patients with the single-ventricle heart disease and Fontan circulation;  closed-loop circulation model. 
The candidate will also contribute to scientific presentations and publications in scientific journals.
