Located in Greater Boston, MassBay is a comprehensive, open-access community college, offering associate degrees and certificate programs on three campuses in Wellesley Hills, Framingham, and Ashland, Massachusetts.

Position Summary:

The ideal candidate will join a vibrant educational community and have a desire and ability to serve a population of students with various needs and backgrounds. Core Values Strong Families, Inc. (CVSF) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering youth, families, and underserved communities through education, workforce development, financial literacy, wellness initiatives, STEAM programming, entrepreneurship, and community engagement. Join CVSF in inspiring the next generation of innovators through hands-on STEM education. Interns will assist with robotics, coding, artificial intelligence, drone demonstrations, engineering activities, and youth STEM programming while gaining valuable leadership and teaching experience. Interns will support school-year and community-based STEM initiatives, including robotics clubs, workshops, demonstrations, and special events.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

• Assist with STEM, robotics, AI, coding, and engineering activities;
  
  
• Support FIRST LEGO League (FLL) and robotics programming;
  
  
• Help facilitate youth workshops and demonstrations;
  
  
• Prepare STEM kits, technology, and instructional materials;
  
  
• Mentor youth participants during hands-on learning activities;
  
  
• Assist with STEM community outreach events; and
  
  
• Support program planning and evaluation.
  
  
• Other duties as assigned.

Additional Information:

Salary Range:            $19 per hour

Hiring is contingent upon a successful CORI clearance.
