Reliability Engineer Intern
Job Description:
Support the performance of product qualification testing of semiconductor circuits:
• Identify and prepare samples for tests
• Develop test fixtures and/or circuit boards for qualification tests as required; may include mechanical assembly and soldering
• Make DC and RF electrical measurements
• Execute qualification and/or reliability tests
• Perform statistical analysis of measurement results
• Support failure analysis as required
• Report results, including recommendations for improvement
Job Qualifications:
• Completion of at least two years of a traditional four-year degree program, majoring in EE, Physics, Materials Science, or other technical discipline
• Basic understanding of electrical measurements
• Basic understanding of electronic principals, including understanding of semiconductor devices
• Basic computer programming skills desired
• Familiarity with data analysis software tools, such as Excel, MathCad, Minitab or JMP desired
• Ability to work with minimal direct supervision
