A full-time Geriatrics physician opportunity is available at Southeast Dallas Health Center in Dallas, Texas. This outpatient-based position is available due to a physician replacement and offers the opportunity to care for an established geriatric patient population within a clinic setting. The organization is seeking a physician with a strong foundation in outpatient geriatric medicine and primary care. Coverage Details Full-time permanent position Monday through Friday 8:00 A.M. – 5:00 P.M. Call coverage required Beeper/Phone Call coverage Call responsibility is approximately one week per year Includes after-hours and weekend call during the assigned call week One physician needed Practice Setting Clinic-Based Practice 100% Outpatient Associated hospital is a Level I Trauma Center Patient Population Geriatric patients Average daily patient volume: 16–18 patients Clinical Requirements Specialty Experience General outpatient geriatric medicine Management of chronic and complex conditions commonly seen in geriatric patients Outpatient primary care experience Procedures General outpatient geriatric evaluation and management Preventive care and chronic disease management Certification Requirements Board Certified Board Eligible State License Requirements Texas Additional License Requirements DEA
