About the Role

The Event Marketing Intern supports the Events & Fashion team in developing and executing engaging experiences for ANDMORE Apparel Markets. This hands-on internship offers exposure to event production, fashion programming, brand activations, talent coordination, visual merchandising, and onsite Market operations. The internship is primarily remote; however, the intern must be available to work the full onsite Atlanta Market periods listed below, including weekend days. The internship is unpaid and intended to meet applicable school or academic-credit requirements.

Required Onsite Market Dates

  • September 14–18, 2026 – Atlanta, Georgia
  • October 5–9, 2026 – Atlanta, Georgia
  • Full availability is required for each Market period, including weekend work where scheduled.
  • Attendance at fashion-related events during the internship period may be required based on the event schedule.

What You’ll Do

Event Planning & Market Execution

  • Assist with planning and execution of onsite Market events and experiences, including kickoff parties, fashion shows, live modeling demonstrations, live photoshoots, interactive installations, sponsored amenities and activations, photo opportunities, and fashion vignettes.
  • Support planning activities for Atlanta and Las Vegas Apparel Markets, with required onsite support limited to the Atlanta Market dates noted above unless otherwise communicated.
  • Provide production assistance during Market and help the team respond to evolving onsite priorities.

Marketing Campaigns & Brand Activations

  • Assist in the development and implementation of creative marketing campaigns that support Market attendance and engagement.
  • Ideate and research potential brand activations, interactive experiences, and audience-engagement opportunities for Market.
  • Research relevant industry events and conferences and create mood boards to inform future Market concepts and experiences.

Programming & Education

  • Research industry experts, fashion and industry influencers, speakers, and other potential talent for Market programming.
  • Assist with the development of Q&A materials and panel or seminar topics.
  • Support speaker and panelist logistics, including travel coordination and event operations.
  • Collect vendor logos, headshots, biographies, and other information needed for signage and marketing collateral.

Fashion Office & Visual Presentation

  • Assist the Fashion Office with planning and execution of virtual and live fashion shows, live modeling presentations, and photoshoots.
  • Support product outreach and selection for curated lounges, vignettes, window displays, and related installations.
  • Assist with vendor and talent outreach and model bookings, as needed.
  • Help dress and style vignettes, displays, installations, mannequins, and models.
  • Assist with lining, bodying, and styling seasonal fashion shows, model demonstrations, and photoshoots.

Production & Product Support

  • Pick up and return product and apparel samples as directed.
  • Steam, hang, tag, organize, and set up product for events, fashion presentations, and displays.
  • Maintain organized work areas and handle merchandise and samples with care throughout setup, execution, and breakdown.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university program and eligible to receive academic credit or otherwise participate in an unpaid internship through the school.
  • Coursework or demonstrated interest in marketing, event management, fashion merchandising, communications, public relations, hospitality, or a related field preferred.
  • Interest in fashion, apparel, experiential marketing, event production, or visual merchandising.
  • Availability to work remotely during the internship and onsite in Atlanta for the complete Market dates listed above.
  • Ability to work a flexible Market schedule, including weekends and extended onsite event hours as needed.
  • Reliable transportation to and from the Atlanta Market location and fashion-related events during the internship period.

  • Comfort working in a fast-paced event environment and interacting professionally with vendors, talent, models, speakers, and internal partners.
  • Willingness to perform hands-on production tasks, including standing for extended periods and moving, organizing, steaming, and styling products and samples.
