Healthcare Data Analyst Intern

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in gathering, structuring, and analyzing large and complex data sets from multiple sources to identify patterns and trends
• Assist in health care claims analysis for the identification of billing opportunities 
• Assist in the development and enhancement of dashboards and reports for external or internal reporting purposes
• Produce effective professional presentations of data and analyses
• Assist in automating report and dashboard delivery
• Perform data integrity checks between databases
• Run reports from databases and prepare spreadsheets for reporting 

REQUIREMENTS

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Mathematics, Finance, Statistics, Computer Science or Business
• 0-3 years’ experience (Healthcare/Medical background a plus); no experience required
• Proficiency in MS Excel
• Sufficient written and verbal skills 
• Strong organizational skills with an eye for detail
• Must be able to problem solve and adjust priorities with little advance notice to meet deadlines and requests.
• Basic proficiency in SQL, ability to use AI to build SQL queries 
• Basic proficiency in PowerBI
• Understanding of statistics
