Position: Behavior Assistant
Location: Woodland Elementary School
Schedule: 2026-2027 School Year – Hours 8:15 – 2:45
Salary: Per Contract $19.67 – $25.67/hour based on experience & certification
To Start: September 2026
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required
Bachelor’s Degree preferred
Knowledge and experience of the following are preferred:
•Previous Special Education experience
•Experience working with students with disabilities
•Behavior management training
•CPI restraint training preferred
Willing and able to train
Duties:
•Provide/support direct educational services
•Work with students with disabilities
•Work collaboratively with others in classroom (sub-separate and/or inclusion)
•Create opportunities for generalization and maintenance of skills
•Completion of daily log as necessary
•Maintain student notebook in neat and orderly manner
•Maintain student specific materials, reinforcers
•Participate in program meetings/trainings
•Review progress on IEP goals
•Support students in ADL (self-care & hygiene, toileting and other needs identified by the student’s IEP and/or care plan).
•Perform other duties as assigned by Lead Teacher and/or Administrator
